Privacy Policy
Ladenstax is a desktop application. This policy explains what data the app handles, what stays on your machine, and what — if anything — reaches us.
1. Data that stays on your device
Your store credentials, access tokens, and the product, variant, collection, and translation data you import or export are stored locally on your computer. Ladenstax talks to Shopify directly from your machine; that catalog data does not pass through our servers.
2. Data we collect
- Diagnostics — anonymous crash reports and error logs, only if you opt in. These never include store data or credentials.
- Account info — if you join the beta or request early access, we store the email address you give us.
3. How we use it
We use diagnostics to fix bugs and improve reliability, and your email to send release notes and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data.
4. Third parties
Ladenstax connects to Shopify using credentials you provide. Your use of Shopify is governed by Shopify's own privacy policy. We use a small number of processors (for email and crash reporting) bound by data-processing agreements.
5. Your choices
You can disable diagnostics at any time in the app's settings, and you can ask us to delete your beta email by contacting privacy@ladenstax.app.
6. Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
